There is a generation of young men in America today who are craving masculine experiences in the outdoors … but there are few people left to take and teach them. There is a generation of single mothers who are praying for Godly men to help lead their sons to manhood. There is a hunting and fishing industry (said to be as big as $400 Billion/yr impact in the US) that is watching its customer base grow older, and shrink in number. There are countless men and women who share a passion for the outdoors and for the Lord, who are eager to serve in a ministry that combines these passions.

There is an inherent power in the outdoors, programmed by God, to make a life-changing impact on those who spend quality time with Him in His creation. This is why every major character in the Bible had their closest fellowship with the Lord in the outdoors.

Based on a common passion for the outdoors, we form strong relationships with young men and help them progress in Three Levels of Growth: Skills, Leadership and Relationship with Jesus Christ.
This harvest field is vast, fertile, ripe, and ready … yet before Cross Trail Outfitters, there was no concerted effort to reach youth in this field in a meaningful way.
With CTO, the results are powerful: Souls saved. Disciples made. Families transformed. Young men eager to become mature Christian men - bold, honorable and faithful. At the same time, we are passing along our hunting and fishing heritage to a new generation, ensuring that this meaningful tradition and valuable American pastime lives long into the future.
