The World’s Greatest Volunteer Jobs! CTO is a volunteer-intensive ministry. Taking all the kids hunting and fishing who want to do so takes a lot of time and effort. Thank God it’s the most fun, rewarding, fruitful work we’ve ever found!
In order to maintain the very highest standards of safety, integrity, quality and Christian maturity, we have implemented a 3-step process for certification, and a rank recognition system, for volunteers who wish to work closely with the youth members. It’s not a difficult process, but necessary in this day and age. |

Two things are important to note. First, there are many ways to help with the work of the ministry that do not require Officer certification. Non-officer Rangers serve many important roles in CTO, just not on outings.
Second is that Rangers Officers will be certified in one or more of five core skill/safety areas: Fishing (including water and boating safety), Rifle, Archery, Shotgun and Muzzleloader. Certification is based on proven knowledge, experience and proficiency. Officers will be limited to working in the areas in which they are certified. |
