WHAT WE DO

Cross Trail Outfitters is a youth hunting and fishing club. It’s a local group of friends, led by a local Outfitter (full-time youth minister), that gives young men an outlet to pursue their passion for hunting and fishing. It is fun, engaging, challenging, rewarding … and good for them!

 

Activities include monthly hunting and fishing trips and other outings - to look forward to, prepare for, and work towards - and the Ultimate Summer Camps, plus weekly meetings, regular skills training sessions, and frequent community service projects like working with the elderly, missions trips and processing meat for the hungry.

 

Cross Trail Outfitters is a ministry that exists to build personal, Christian mentoring relationships with young men … one at a time, across America … and to use these relationships to lead them down a clear, personal and challenging path towards

 

Christian maturity. We engage young men on Three Levels of Growth: Skills, Leadership, and Relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

As the young men show leadership and commitment, they may enter the Trail of the Guide. This program, which progresses through Apprentice, Journeyman and Master Guide levels, allows them to earn rank, responsibility and respect. The Trail of the Guide provides a Biblical vision for manhood, something that is sorely missing in our society today.

 

Cross Trail Outfitters is a fun, exciting and powerful ministry to reach a generation of young men like no other group. We're using the blessings of God's great outdoors to change the world, one heart at a time.
