The cost of our First Hunts is $250, all inclusive. This includes carpool to the ranch (if necessary), lodging, meals, guiding, personal lessons and coaching, and preparation of the animal to take home (with the participant’s hands-on help!). It also includes a very nice exotic ram, with options of a number of species.
The very biggest rams on the ranch will require a fee of $100 extra upon harvesting of the animal. These will be pursued only at the request of a parent or guardian.
While our success rate is nearly 100%, on the outside chance that no game is harvested, $100 will be deducted from the cost of the outing.
As with any hunt of this kind, a wounded and unrecovered animal is considered a harvest. (This has never happened on a First Hunt, but it’s worth mentioning here.)
WE HAVE NEVER TURNED A KID AWAY FROM ANY OUTING OR CAMP BECAUSE HIS FAMILY COULDN’T AFFORD IT! SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE ON A NEED BASIS. |
