Jesse Easley — Expedition Leader Our staff leader on this trip will be Jesse Easley. He and his wife are owners of CTO’s Texas summer camp ranch, Stillwater Refuge. Jesse went on his first trip to Haiti in 1997 and felt a very unique call from the Lord about his future with that country. He continued going on one or two trips a year until his last trip in the Summer of 2007 which was his 14th trip to Haiti. In 2000 Jesse and his wife Amy took two trips to the country — one for three weeks and one for six — looking and praying for the Lord to show them the location they should live as missionaries. After much prayer and fasting, they felt that the Lord was not leading them to move permanently, but instead that they were called to uniquely serve the missionaries and people of Haiti. Most of Jesse’s trips have been Hiking Evangelism trips into the remote villages of the mountains with no vehicle roads. He has also lead construction trips (building a school), Medical Clinic trips, Auto Mechanic Trips, and Evangelism Crusades with preaching, drama, and the “Jesus Film”. He has lead trips consisting of all adults, all college aged team members, and teams that were college-aged and teenaged members.
